a month to go and the panic is starting to settle in...

so the big oneofakind show is one month away.  a month.  never thought flipping the calendar to march would be so terrifying but needless to say march is crunch time.  i have two more weeks of clay work, hoping not only will i make enough, things will dry in time, and i'll have time to fire everything.  then the last two weeks i switch to stained glass work and butterfly making plus everything else i will need to do to make this a great show, no pressure, no pressure at all. ;-)

 mushrooms anyone?...

little butterfly gnomes waiting patiently for their hand drawn and coloured butterfly kites...

little fairy gnomes waiting patiently for their stained glass wings...

back to work i go.  :-)
have a great day everybody!

until next time..

plant therapy

so it's winter, shocking i know as i stare out into the blinding white,  and usually with the winter comes the duldrums but alas this winter hasn't been too bad for me.      a) i'm doing what i love  b) lots of chewable vitamin D, they have it in chocolate, highly recommend. :-D   c) i dance, or at least move around, crank the tunes and go  d) lots of house plants.   it's amazing how your outlook changes when you have growing things around you.  :)   here's some things that made me smile this morning.

a little yellow therapy (thanks tracey)

finally after years of nothing my christmas cactus is finally blooming..

flowering shamrock blooming despite the cold..

and lookie here, little baby sprouts on my young spider plant (thanks janine) eeeee exciting!

yes i'm goofy but it works, now go play in the dirt. :-)
